The Board of Directors of the Federation of Industries decided, in its meeting that ended shortly before, and in the presence of the heads of the chambers of industry, to donate a thousand tons of basic commodities to alleviate the effects of the damages suffered by the Gaza Strip as a result of the recent events.
According to an official statement issued this evening, the donations include basic food and medicine commodities and medical supplies to support the brothers in the State of Palestine, and coordination will be made with the Egyptian government regarding the delivery of this aid to the Palestinian brothers through the official channels of the state.
The Federation of Industries said in a statement yesterday that the Federation appreciates the initiative of the political leadership on the development and reconstruction of Palestine. The Egyptian political leadership was and still is the first line of defense for the Palestinian cause.
The Federation of Egyptian Industries is proudly following up on the development initiative and efforts undertaken by the Arab Republic of Egypt to support Palestine, and declares its readiness to support this initiative with all the capabilities of the union.
