Afghan military sources announced that 21 militants, including 13 members of Al-Qaeda, were killed during an air strike in Helmand Province.

According to the Afghan News Agency (Bakhtar) today, Tuesday, the military sources said that al-Qaeda operatives were being trained with the Taliban on mines, bombs and suicide vests at the joint headquarters of this group in Bubalzai in the Khanshin district, which was targeted by the security forces.

For his part, a senior official in Attal Corps in the south said: "Thirteen members of Al-Qaeda and eight militants were killed in the air raid."
