Palestine and Jordan affirm the need for the international community to take immediate steps to stop the Israeli violations
The Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad Al-Malki, and the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi stressed the need for the international community to take immediate and effective steps to stop the illegal and inhumane Israeli practices against the Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Al-Maliki and Safadi held - during talks within the framework of the process of coordinating regional and international moves to confront Israeli practices and attacks, according to the Palestinian News Agency, yesterday, Saturday, the occupation authorities were responsible for the dangerous escalation in occupied Jerusalem.
They stressed that Jerusalem and its sanctities are a red line, and the Israeli violations are a flagrant violation of international law and a provocation to the feelings of two billion Muslims and a crime that will fuel the conflict and push the region towards further escalation and escalation.
Safadi affirmed that Jordan, under the guidance and follow-up of King Abdullah II, will continue to devote all its capabilities to protecting sacred sites, their Arab, Islamic and Christian identity, and the historical and legal status is automatic in them and confronting Israeli attacks and violations.
Al-Maliki and Safadi stressed the continuation of coordination and joint action regionally and internationally to confront the Israeli violations and protect the Palestinian people and their rights, especially their right to their independent and sovereign state on the lines of June 4, 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital.
The two ministers agreed that the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Jordan would submit a request to the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States to call for an extraordinary and urgent ministerial meeting on Tuesday to come up with a unified Arab vision on the best ways to confront these Israeli measures internationally.
