Gold is down 3 pounds at the end of the week's trading... and 21 karat is 807 per gram

Gold prices fell at the end of the week’s trading, today, Saturday, June 12, 2021, at a value of 3 pounds, to record 21 karat gold, which is the most traded in the goldsmiths market in Egypt, 807 pounds per gram.

This decline in the price of gold in Egypt came as a result of the drop in the price of an ounce of gold in global stock exchanges to levels of 1876 dollars, down 1.12%, according to the conclusion of the trading sessions yesterday, Friday.

Gold price in Egypt

24 karat record 922.25 pounds

21 caliber recorded 807 pounds

Carat 18 recorded 691.75 pounds

The gold pound is 6456 pounds

An ounce of gold is 1876 dollars.

Gold recorded a noticeable decline at global levels, to lose an ounce of about 25 dollars this week, to bring prices down from 1900 dollars to 1876 dollars, with increases in the price of the dollar despite the announcement of an increase in inflation in America.

Official data revealed that US consumer prices rose strongly in May, but analysts say the increase is likely to be fleeting and thus fears about the Federal Reserve's tightening of policy have eased, and thus precious metals prices have fallen.
