Gold prices close the week with a slight increase and 21 karat at 775 pounds per gram


Gold prices on global stock exchanges closed with a limited increase of 0.34%, to record an ounce of gold, according to the closing sessions of trading in the late hours of Friday evening, at $1,781 an ounce, amid anticipation and calm in global markets, while calming investors’ fears of an upcoming interest rate hike in the United States of America.


Gold prices in Egypt recorded a very limited movement of two pounds, to close the market this week at the price of 775 pounds per gram of 21 karat, which is the most popular and sold in Egypt, and it is the price recorded in the precious metals markets in Egypt now, and it is expected that this price will continue with us until trading opens again on gold next Monday.

Carat 18 recorded 664 pounds per gram.


21 carat record 775 pounds per gram.


24 carat record 886 pounds per gram.


The gold pound is 6200 pounds.


An ounce of gold is $1,781.

 


Gold prices fell in some trading sessions, as they were pressured by the stability of the dollar, while investors seek to pass mixed signals from the US Federal Reserve regarding an increase in interest rates and are awaiting more economic data in the United States to measure the size of inflationary pressures.
