Oil prices fell, Brent recorded 74.49 dollars, and US crude was 72.86 dollars

Today, oil prices recorded $74.49 a barrel for the global benchmark Brent crude futures contract, and the US West Texas Intermediate crude futures contract recorded $72.86 a barrel.

According to international media reports, oil prices fell today as a result of fears of a slowdown in demand for fuel.

The OPEC Plus alliance is scheduled to hold its meeting at the beginning of July, to discuss further easing of production cuts, starting in August 2021.

Oil prices recorded their fifth consecutive weekly gain at the end of trading sessions in the futures markets last Friday, as Brent crude contracts rose 3.6% compared to the end of the previous week, and West Texas crude contracts rose 3.4%.
