"Project Development" provides 150 pilot feasibility studies for small projects in villages


Nevin Jameh, Minister of Trade and Industry and CEO of the Enterprise Development Authority, explained that the agency, based on the field studies that it prepared on the investment components and available employment opportunities in 1500 villages covered by the Decent Life Initiative, prepared 150 indicative feasibility studies for small projects that can be implemented in these governorates as a first stage. The agency's experts are completing the preparation of more of these studies to help and encourage citizens to start new projects or expand their existing ones, which helps provide job opportunities for them and others and contribute to the economic development of the Egyptian countryside.

 

This is within the framework of completing the activities carried out by the Project Development Agency in coordination between the various state agencies to implement the presidential initiative "A Dignified Life" with the aim of improving living conditions and providing a better life for the neediest groups in various governorates by encouraging citizens to engage in self-employment and self-employment.

 

Nevin Jameh confirmed that these studies include a variety of activities, including metal, agricultural, food, livestock, fish farming, plastic and leather industries, handicrafts, textile industries and furnishings. These activities have been determined according to the natural resources available in the villages and centers targeted by the "Dignified Life" initiative and the needs of citizens in them, in order to ensure the success of These projects and their ability to continue.

 

Nevin Jameh called on the youth and citizens of these governorates to go to the branches of the device in various governorates to view and benefit from these studies and to learn about the various funding means available through the device and the training courses that help them start their new projects, adding that citizens can learn about the locations of the branches of the device in these governorates by By calling the hotline 16733.

 

It is worth noting that the Enterprise Development Authority chairs the Economic Development and Job Creation Committee in the governorates, which is one of the sub-committees of the Main Committee to follow up on the implementation of the Dignified Life Initiative.
