Building materials prices witnessed stability today, Tuesday, 22-6-2021, according to the official prices announced by the Building Materials Division of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce.
Ahmed El-Zeini, head of the General Division for Building Materials at the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the price of iron ranges between 14,200 and 14,600 pounds ex-factory, plus a value-added tax of 14%, while the consumer price ranges between 14,300-14,700 pounds per ton.
Al-Zeini added, in exclusive statements to “The Seventh Day” that black cement prices range between 675-800 pounds per ton, the factory price, and consumer prices range between 750-850 pounds per ton, the price of mixed cement ranges between 550-600 pounds, for delivery of factory land, and the consumer is 600-650 pounds. per ton.
White cement prices were recorded at 2350-2450 pounds for delivery of factory land, and the consumer price was 2500-2650 pounds per ton. And the bricks scored 750-950 pounds per thousand bricks.
