The draw for the final round of Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup was held today, Thursday, in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The results of the lottery were as follows:
Group A: Iran, South Korea, UAE, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
Group B: Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, China, Oman and Vietnam.
The two teams who occupy the first and second places in each group qualify for the 2022 World Cup, provided that the two third-placed teams in the Asian play-off meet to determine the team that qualifies for the world play-off.
And it was decided that the final matches of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup will be held in 10 rounds, on September 2 and 7, 2021, October 7 and 12, 2021, and on November 11 and 16, 2021, January 27, 2022, and February 1, 2022, and March 24 and 29, 2022
