The Yemeni army, backed by tribal fighters, supported the Houthis, incurred human and material losses on the Al-Mashreif and Mahlia fronts, southwest of Marib.
A field source confirmed that a group of terrorist militia members tried to infiltrate one of the military sites in the Al-Mushairif front, but the army forces were on the lookout for them and thwarted the attack, leaving the attackers dead and wounded, noting that the army and tribesmen are continuing their field advance, and are determined to liberate Mahlia Directorate down to Al-Bayda Governorate.
In this context, the fighters of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen targeted military reinforcements of the Houthi militia, which were coming from the Qaniya area in Al-Bayda Governorate, and destroyed them, including them.
In addition, the army’s artillery yesterday demolished militia sites and gatherings in separate locations southwest of Marib, incurring great losses in equipment and lives.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Murad Front, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Halisi, said that the Yemeni army forces, backed by tribal fighters, have completed securing the liberated strategic sites in the Rahba district and the outskirts of the Mahlia district, southwest of Ma'rib Governorate.
