The Tanzanian Football Association announced the approval of the African Confederation (CAF) for the attendance of 10 thousand fans for the match of the Tanzanian team Simba against the Congolese Vita Club in the match that brings them together next Saturday in the fifth round matches of the first group, which includes Al-Ahly and Al-Merreikh of Sudan for the African Champions League competitions.
The Tanzanian Confederation published an official statement on its official page on Twitter: “The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has allowed Simba to include 10,000 fans in their match against Vita Club at the request of the Tanzanian Confederation.
The Al-Ahly match will be held against the Sudanese Al-Merrikh at 3 pm on Saturday, April 3, in the fifth round of the Champions League, and is managed by an Ethiopian referee team led by Pamlak Tasima.
While the Al-Ahly match will be held against Simba, the Tanzanian, at Cairo Stadium at 9 pm on Friday, April 9th, in the sixth round of the Champions League, and is managed by an Algerian refereeing team led by Mostafa Ghorbal.
Al-Ahly is in second place in the first group ranking, with 7 points, behind Simba, the Tanzanian leader, with 10 points.
Al-Ahly needs to win the next two matches, or at least a win and a draw, to ensure access to the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
