Moravitsky said - in statements to reporters reported by (Radio Poland) today, Monday, that the government vaccination program will help Poland achieve herd immunity and avoid further closures and economic problems.
He added, "Today is a time for a renaissance for the economy ... Let's not allow October and November 2021 to bring bad news again ... We have the means to prevent this from happening (the vaccination program)."
On Saturday, the Polish government announced an ambitious program to help the country's economy recover from the effects of the pandemic, with a promise to provide more support for young families and inject cash into the public health care sector.
And the Polish Prime Minister said - last month - that a large number of anti-Corona virus restrictions imposed on daily life will be eased in several stages after a decrease in new infections and an increase in the supply of vaccines.
It is noteworthy that, according to the data of the Polish Ministry of Health, more than 11.5 million people have received the first dose of the vaccine, while more than 4 million people have received the full doses of the vaccine.
Poland today recorded 1,109 new infections with the Coronavirus and 11 new deaths, which brings the total number of infections in the country during the epidemic to two million 855 thousand and 190 cases and deaths to 71,675 cases.
