Shenzhou-12 is the third of 11 missions needed to complete the Chinese space station by 2022.
This year, China began the construction of the space station with the launch of Tianhe, the first and largest of the three station units, in late April, and the last Chinese manned mission in 2016, when the Shenzhou-11 carrying two men launched to Tiangong-2, a prototype of the space station, where they remained. for about a month.
Beijing aims to become a major power in space by 2030, and in May became the second country to put a spacecraft on Mars, two years after the first Chinese spacecraft landed on the far side of the moon.
