Diaa El-Sayed: Clubs do not achieve championships with money only

Diaa El-Sayed, technical director of Ceramica team, believes that tournaments do not need money only, explaining that there are very many elements that control the matter, such as experience and passion for the championship, and that there are teams experienced in taming titles in all world leagues.

Diaa Al-Sayed said, in statements to “The Seventh Day”: “Ceramic is an investment team, which sets close plans and long-term plans, and we are trying to achieve these plans through a strategy, and if God forbids me to continue my work with Ceramica, there will be a different form for the team over time. We will be competitive with the big teams at all levels.”

Al-Sayyid highlighted his satisfaction with the technical strength of the team, which is currently present, and said: “Ceramica is a promising team, it does not mean that I took over the team in the middle of the season that I am not satisfied with the team, because if I did not trust the players’ capabilities, I would have apologized for training the team, my full confidence in the existing players, Of course, there will be reinforcements, because continuing in a difficult league like the Egyptian league always needs to renew blood, and this gives the current group motivation to fight and reserve a key place in the squad.”

The Ceramica team played some friendly matches during the last period, in preparation for the return of the league again, as it tied with the National Bank team with one goal for each team, then beat the Vanguards of the Army with a goal without a response, and finally beat the Military Production with two goals without a response in the match that was held yesterday on Peace Stadium.

In a related context, the management of Ceramica Club insisted on the return of Mohamed Hassan Al-Maar to Al-Ismaili at the end of the current season, after the great levels provided by the player in the midfield to the Dervishes after loaning him at the beginning of this season.

Mohamed Hassan had left the ranks of Zamalek to Ceramica Cleopatra, in order to obtain an opportunity to participate continuously, before heading towards Ismailia for the same goal, but he was loaned directly to Ismaili last January.
