At least 43 people were killed in a fire that broke out in a food factory in Bangladesh, in a new toll announced by local police on Friday, while emergency services are working to get more bodies out of the flames, according to French media.
The fire broke out in the factory in Roopjang on Thursday afternoon, and is still burning about 24 hours after it broke out, and many of the 30 injured jumped from the upper floors of the building to escape the flames.
The local authorities in Bangladesh had announced another toll of the accident, noting the death of at least 19 people.
