Diaz arrives in Italy to sign the official with Milan

Real Madrid striker Brahim Diaz has arrived in Italy in preparation for the official signing with Milan during the current summer transfers.

Brahim Diaz will undergo medical examinations in Milan at the Madonnina Clinic, and at the end of the day the Real Madrid player will go to Casa Milan to officially sign his contracts with the Lombardy club.

It is scheduled that Real Madrid striker Brahim Diaz will join Milan for two seasons on loan for 3 million euros, with the right to buy his contract for 22 million euros, while there will be a clause for Real Madrid to take the player back for 27 million euros.

Diaz played for Milan on loan last season, and participated in 27 matches in the Italian league and managed to score 4 goals and made 4 goals as well.

On the other hand, French striker Olivier Giroud announced his departure from Chelsea and his move to AC Milan, thanking his former colleagues and the fans of the London club, during the time he spent at the club throughout the previous years.

Giroud said in a tweet via his personal account on the social networking site "Twitter": "To all belonging to the Blues, to my fellow players and coaches, to everyone who belongs to the club, thank you very much for the moments spent with you."

He continued, "I will start a new journey full of hope and happiness. Our previous victories in the FA Cup, the European League, and the Champions League were wonderful."

On Thursday, Giroud arrived in Milan to complete his transfer to Milan from Chelsea, with whom he won the Champions League last season.

Giroud, 34, is expected to sign a two-season contract with the Serie A runners-up, who will start his new season against Sampdoria in Genoa.

Milan returns to the Champions League for the first time since the 2013-2014 season, after coach Stefano Pioli's team finished the Italian league in second place behind its arch-rival Inter, and in front of Atalanta and Juventus, who gave up the title after monopolizing it for nine seasons.

The French striker had reached an agreement with Milan even before Chelsea extended his contract as the Italian league giants were able to secure his transfer after a month of negotiations with the Blues.

Giroud joined Chelsea from Arsenal in January 2018, and has 90 goals in 255 Premier League games and scored 39 goals in 119 appearances for the Blues.
