In a report on key economic indicators for Iran in 2020, the Central Bank of Iran announced that the country's overall unemployment rate reached 9.6% last year.

He added that the unemployment rate among the youth group between 18 and 35 years was 16.7%, and the population of Iran last year was 84 million, including 36.4 million living in cities and 20.6 million in rural areas.

According to the Central Bank of Iran, the urban unemployment rate is 10.4% and the rural unemployment rate is 7.2%.
