Heatstroke generally occurs when an individual is exposed to extreme temperatures for a very long time whether it is work, exercise or just sitting in a hot environment, heat stroke is known as a serious condition and should be considered an emergency.

heat stroke symptoms
Heat stroke symptoms include:
Elevated body temperature: Elevated body temperature is the main feature of heat stroke.
Mental changes: These can include confusion, seizures (especially in children), delirium, slurred speech, irritability, and coma.
Sweat changes: In the case of heat stroke caused by hot weather, the skin feels hot and dry, heatstroke caused by physical exertion will make the skin feel wet.
Nausea: feeling sick or needing to vomit.
headache;
Discoloration: The skin may turn red as the body temperature rises.
Breathing: Breathing may become faster and easier.
Heart rate: While the body is trying to cool down, the heart is exposed to increased stress which causes the heart rate to rise.
heat stroke treatment
The temperature of people suffering from heat stroke should be lowered as soon as possible.
There are a number of potential ways to achieve this, including:
Expose the person with heat stroke to cold water or an ice bath.
Evaporative cooling: cold water is sprayed on the skin while warm air is vented over the body. This causes evaporation which cools the skin.
Cooling blankets and ice bags: Cooling blankets are placed around the individual with heat stroke, and ice bags are also placed in areas where large veins come close to the surface of the skin, such as the groin, armpit, neck and back. This ensures that the blood temperature drops quickly.
Muscle relaxants: Medications, such as benzodiazepines, can be given if the body temperature does not drop. These prevent the body from shivering in response to cold treatments.
Heat stroke is a serious condition, and professional medical help should be sought immediately.
While waiting for help, the individual should go somewhere less warm and try to lower their temperature with a cool bath or cool drinks.
