The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques opens 4 additional entrances to serve the transportation vehicles in the Grand Mosque


The Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has implemented four additional entrances to serve the pilgrims of the Holy House, and to serve the transportation vehicles operating for expatriates, in conjunction with the increase in the number of pilgrims by 60,000 pilgrims. For those in need of pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque, the elderly and people with disabilities.


Al-Maqati added that these doors and carts contribute to facilitating the arrivals in performing their rituals with ease and ease, as the administration supervises the electric carts, secures the regular cars and follows them up in the field to ensure their compliance with the instructions.


Al-Maqati pointed out that the number of employees working to provide services to the visitors of the Grand Mosque amounted to more than 180 employees, divided into four different shifts, during which peak times are taken into account to provide the highest quality standards in the speed of work and achievement, while the role of employees varies between supervisors, technicians and administrators.


He pointed out that the administration worked to establish three points for distributing vehicles at the entrances to the Grand Mosque, taking into account taking all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of pilgrims to the ancient House of God, from placing posters to apply social distancing and to ensure that there is no human density when obtaining a service request.


The free electric carts are also disinfected after each user, in order to ensure that they follow the precautionary and preventive measures, and health requirements, so that the guests of the House of God can perform their rituals easily and easily.


Al-Maqati stressed that these services and efforts are under the supervision and organization of the General Department of Service Affairs of the Agency for Services and Field Affairs and to achieve environmental protection and in implementation of the directives of the General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais.
