The 43-year-old giant, Buffon, surprised football fans with his new decision regarding his football career after the end of his journey with his team Juventus, to reveal a new unexpected decision, which is to return to Parma from the 2021-2022 season,.
Buffon's return to the Parma team is considered historic, because the latter started his career there 26 years ago, and the goalkeeper is expected to sign his contract with Parma until June 2023, in surprising news for all football fans, because he reached the age of 43 and does not want to end his football career.
And goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon had decided to leave Juventus at the end of the 2020-2021 season, due to his advanced age and his inability to play mainly with the "Bianconeri", although he still presents a distinguished level on the field.
And the Italian goalkeeper had previously announced his departure from Juventus after the end of his contract with the Bianconeri, which will expire on June 30.
The 43-year-old goalkeeper began his football career with Parma 26 years ago, and moved to Juventus in 2001, to write a history with the old lady full of titles until 2018, then to Paris Saint-Germain in the 2018/2019 season before returning again to the Bianconeri.
Parma was relegated to the Italian second division last season after occupying the 20th and last place with 20 points from 38 rounds.
