The Minister received a report from El-Shahat Ghaturi, Head of the Customs Authority, in which he indicated that the Central Administration of Alexandria Customs released, during the month of June, 16,649 final incoming customs certificates, for various types of strategic goods, production requirements, spare parts and general merchandise. cars, and smoke.

 

The report added that the taxes and customs fees collected on incoming certificates during the month of June 2021 amounted to 2,291 million and 91 thousand pounds, while the total value-added taxes, taxes and other fees collected from these certificates amounted to about 6 billion, 625 million and 957 thousand pounds.

 

The report indicated that the General Administration of Exports at Alexandria Customs had included 7,376 customs declarations during the month of June, for various types of strategic goods and general merchandise, including: “fertilizers, marble, phosphates, ceramics, sugar, and clothing.” Fees were collected Issued by some goods amounting to 3 million and 346 thousand pounds, and the General Administration of Ports collected overweight fees for 654 customs declarations, with a total of 4 million and 479 thousand pounds during the same period.

 

The report indicated that the total collected taxes and customs duties and taxes and other fees collected at Alexandria Customs during the month of June amounted to about 8 billion and 25 million and 874 thousand pounds.
