The Holding Company for Cotton, Spinning, Weaving and Clothing continues to complete the installation of machines, equipment and machines for the Zagazig and Kafr El-Zayat gins, after they arrived from abroad, which led to a delay in the trial run of the gins, which was scheduled for last May.
A source revealed to "The Seventh Day" that the machines and equipment of the Kafr El-Dawwar gin, some of which arrived at the gin, while the rest of the equipment arrived at the Egyptian ports in preparation for transporting the gin for installation.
It is expected that the 3 cotton gins will serve the current season, to receive cotton with the new mechanism from farmers throughout the Republic, which are developed with 200 million pounds, within the framework of the development plan, which includes the establishment of 7 developed gins, the first of which was in Fayoum, and in the second phase. 3 gins in Zagazig, Kafr El-Dawar and Kafr El-Zayat, and the other three at the end of this year and early next year.
