Zamalek: We succeeded in reducing $6 million in debts of former players and coaches


Nasr Azzam, the legal advisor to Zamalek, confirmed that there was a complaint submitted to the International Football Association against the Tunisian player Ferjani Sassi and against Al-Duhail, who included the player a few days ago, saying: “We sent a complaint against the two parties that the player’s contract expires at the end of the season and not on May 30, as he claimed. player".


Azzam continued, in televised statements to the Ontime Stadium program, on Ontime Sports, with the journalist Ahmed Schubert: “We have submitted an appeal against the Portuguese Bartimo penalty against Mohamed Ibrahim, the former team player, and we are optimistic that the fine will be reduced, and we have also succeeded in reducing Pacheco’s penalty by 80%. Approximately $2 million.


And the legal advisor to Zamalek continued: “We are following up on all the cases filed against Zamalek in FIFA, and all the files are being followed up, and there was a debt equivalent to $ 17 million. We succeeded in reducing $ 6 million in 4 cases that have been terminated so far.”


Azzam explained that the failure to deal professionally in some files causes wholesale problems in the cases filed against Zamalek in the Sports Court, explaining that efforts are being made to solve these problems, respectively.


The committee in charge of managing the Zamalek club confirmed that it had submitted the entire file of the Tunisian player Ferjani Sassi to FIFA to decide the suspension of the player, who did not complete his contract with the white club until it expired at the end of the current season in Egypt according to the terms of his contract.


The committee in charge of its complaint relies on the club’s Football Association letter confirming that the current season will end on August 26, 2021, as well as FIFA’s website, which stated that the season ended in Egypt on the same previous date.


The committee confirmed that it deposited all the player’s remaining dues in his account within the legal period, after deducting the value of taxes in accordance with Egyptian laws and the penalties imposed on the player from previous councils according to the club’s regulations, like all players.
